Pin 42, what kind of fans are they? nelson performance has a harness to use with LS1 fans and FAL fans. It was a 20. min operation and than just go into the fan controls and itl work. It was a VERY simple operation and the harness is about 90 bucks
Took me longer than 20 minutes. I thought it could have had a better diagram for tapping into pin 42 on the PCM, but I eventually figured it out. It's been working very well for me. On my 03 5.3 truck, I can control what temps turn the fans off and on, but I can't control the 2 fans that came off an 05 silverado independently.
They may be run in series as the "low speed fan" to achive a low speed, and separately as high speed fans. At least that's how the Vettes do it...
