Controller Unlocker: Timed out E78

So I loaded a new tune for my 2015 Chevy Cruze LTZ and took a test drive. About 10 minutes in the service stability light came on, the CEL started flashing and the car Started running like crap.
Once I pulled it over and turned it off it would not even crank any more. I tried to reconnect to the ecm but am not getting anything.
I tried to reflash with my previous tune and with my stock tune but get the message Controller unlocker timed out. I have tried disconnecting the battery, but no help.
I have used this laptop and cable to flash my other vehicle with no problems so i know everything is working.
I can also read and write to the transmission controller on this car but it doesn't seem to see the ECM anymore.
