    X7F Negative Response

    Received the X7F Negative response error when trying to write the tune into the vehicle (2013 Caprice 6.0). Read up on the issue and saw where several people mentioned it was an error that sometimes went away after a few minutes, and another suggestion that I needed the newest update/version. I have the 3.6, downloaded/installed yesterday. I give it about 20 minutes, hook everything back up, and now it will not even read the vehicle. The first issue says no VIN found - to enter VIN and proceed, or select cancel and proceed without VIN. After entering the VIN, i now receive the same X7F Negative response as I did when trying to write the tune initially. Any suggestions?
    Yes Voltage is good in the vehicle
    No there is no aftermarket radio/interface
