I figured it out. For some reason my laptop uninstalled HP Tuners. Very odd.
Appears it might be slipping, as in needing a rebuild. If you do it yourself it can be quite cheap. I used a old clothes drier that was set out for scrap. Cut a hole in the top of it for a drain and a second hole to hold the shaft. Then put shelves in it to hold parts to keep them organized.
In the log it's shifting at 5700, but doesn't stop revving till 6300.
Then again it might be a tune issue. Make sure it has the correct tire and gear setup in the tune.

Tire and gear seems to be spot on. I was thinking it probably needed rebuilt myself until I tried the tune that you edited and now it shifts to 3rd flawlessly. That makes me think that with a little more tweaking, the 1-2 could improve.

Refer to the white line, it represents the current gear. You can see it shows it as shifted yet rpms continue to rise. While in first gear it takes quite a while for rpms to transition to what would be considered normal with the gear engaged fully.

A stock trans in decent condition will shift decently with a stock tune. Once there is significant wear raising the pressures will increase holding power and crutch it up a bit....but it does not mean that it is in decent condition. It will still need a rebuild before it begins to work properly again.
Have seen a few times when the pressure control solenoid (force motor) screens were plugged up allowing enough volume and pressure for decent light throttle shifts but slipping badly under heavy throttle shifts...but why were the screens plugged up? Clutch material....still needed rebuilt.
What I'm looking at is where it doesn't even begin to make the 1-2 shift until almost 6300rpm, where current gear changes from 1.0 to 1.1. I understand slippage, but that doesn't explain why it isn't even attempting to change gears until 800rpm after the computer tells it to.
Well as the post just before you mentions... "pressure control solenoid (force motor) screens were plugged up". I've seen this happen, You can get a mechanical gauge to verify you have this issue. It should be around $35. You will be able to see what the actual line pressure is.

Thats the point. Once the pcm commands the shift, it should shift. If pressures are good, and it continues another 800 rpms before shifting, then you either have a hydraulic issue, or a clutch issue, i.e., there has to be a massive volume of fluid applied before the shift happens. When good pressures and shift times are in the tune, and you see shifts above 4-500 rpms, its rebuild time

before you start tearing down the transmission I would copy a stock transmission tune and save the new file as (trans test) or something so you don't confuse it with your current tune file and upload it and see what the transmission does then. If it corrects the problem you know it's the tune, if it doesn't then it's the transmission.
So I have a 2014 Silverado and swapped from 3.08 to 3.73 and with a Speedo calibrator installed it won?t shift under wot, just bounces off rev limiter, wen I take the time out it?s fine. What do I need to do thanks
You need to adjust the shift speed(mph) in the trans settings. With the 3.73, you aren't going fast enough in each gear to meet the speed requirements to perform a shift at wot.
So how would I go about that?s is there a calibabrator to buy or can a shop do it.. will a hyper tech Max tuner do it by switching the shift points???
Thanks
Just by your presence on this forum, I assumed yup have an HP Tuner. A handheld device should be able to fix it though, but I'm not sure, personally.
So I had a Speedo calibrator from hyper tech and that would only do tire size and gear ratio so I got the hyper tech max which does all, just don?t know if it will change wat I need, wat do u think. Does it change way I need? Thanks
I know this is an old post, but I am having this issue as well. hell even zero'ed 1-2 and 2-3 and still nothing now I am going to try matching the part throttle shift time mph to the wot shift mph and see if that helps
