This thread will be used for LFX tuning in the new mid-size trucks, and hopefully will generate some discussion on how to improve over the factory tune.
I started with the PIP5303A update and then:
- massaged the Driver Demand tables,
- raised the rev limiter in 1st gear,
- tweaked the WOT cam phasing (way less retarded, physically speaking),
- added 5% to the MAF (for an aftermarket intake),
- smoothed the PE table, and
- increased the transmission shift points both low and high speeds (you can get into serious trouble now).
