Wish there was an east link or thread somewhere for the latest updates.. I hate having to blindly download and install only to be surprised by another update. Even the update name should be named with some discernible name so I can decide quickly to download it or not..
For example include the major release and update release in the name.

I completely agree with you on this. I add the revision to the end of the file manually and keep them as I download them. If for some reason a bug is introduced that affects me I can revert back. Not being able to tell what version you are downloading is pretty annoying.
We update the software every day, sometimes multiple times a day. Assume that if you downloaded yesterday its a new one today...
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
