    new to hp tuner. help?????

    does anyone have any base tunes for 99-07 silverados. stock trucks. 4.8 and 5.3

    Go to tune repository on the HP Tuners Home page. If new you may have to create a log in.

    Just note that anthing on the repository is a complete maybe, the person that tuned it may know even less about tuning than you do. Any monkey can change settings but that doesn't mean they are correct.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    Assumed he wanted stock tunes....per his request. But correct, Buyer beware. With a stock tune, compare it to 1 or 2 others to make sure they are the same, if not be cautious.

    I guess it can be taken either way. I read it as if he wanted a "base' tune as in like a canned/stage type tune that's already done up with minimal changes.

    On the upper command line is the TUNE REPOSITORY "button". Again I am not sure if you have setup an account and are logged in so this is where you should start.
