    Question l5 colorado stoich afr question

    hello
    can i change the stoich afr for gas saver

    example 14,69971 to 14.9

    if not what can i do, 3.5l canyon drink like e v8

    You can but that isn't going to net a whole lot. A lot of it is in the rest of the tune. Trans, etc... But remember, this table has an effect on a LOT of other tables. If you set stoich to say, 15, then you will be very lean on full throttle. My recipe for fuel economy is:

    Increased timing in cruise rpm/air cells.
    Torque converter lockup to 90min and 100max(if automatic)
    A bit increased trans pressures
    Switched my stoich a little higher for road trips, and fattened the PE ratio so I retain my 12.5-12.8AFR at WOT
    A light foot.

    But mostly a light foot. I did get fantastic mileage in my 2.2 Cobalt on a road trip with those changes. 65mph was 50mpg, 75mph was 40mpg, and 90mph was still 35-37mpg.

    80miles more with tank with light foot
    332miles with 67l of 91oct
