    4.10 gears a tune needed???

    if i install 4.10 gears will i need to tune the car or anything i should know before i do so?? thanx in advance

    just for the gears...not much else you NEED to tune for

    foff is saying that HpT adjusts everything automatically (like shift points)
    (shift points wont be absolutely perfect though).
    you divide your tire size (in inches) by your gear ratio and just enter that #.
    ex: my 26.1" tires / 4.10 = 6.20
    its simple

    Note: this procedure is for 97-98 LS1's. 99+ uses a different method.
    Simply enter your current gear ratio & tire size (if you haven't changed tires, just enter the currently displayed size).

    i have a 2002
    i had to divide my tire size by my gear ratio then enter that #
