    E38 from 2007 vette to 2011 vette

I wanna install 2007 auto vette ECM to 2011 manual vette. If yeas what kind of reprograming is needed? Can it be performed with Tech-2 or MDI and hptuners?

Different hardware and a pin or two are different. Why do you want a 2007 ECM in a 2011?

I have this annoying P0606 - PCM / ECM Processor Fault code on 2011 vette( happened after hptuners reflash). I thought swapping the ECU( I have spare one from 2007) and testing that way its easy task. So if I understand I need 2010+ ECU to test, what would be the procedure?

To swap ECMs? Just plug the new one in assuming it is right.

What all did you edit with the new flash? The ECM may not actually be dead.

its not dead, it happens mostly when accelerating goes to limp mode along with traction control light, I know there possibility of bad wiring somethere or ground connection, I just thought i will test ecu first, because for some reason it started to happen when I reflashed new tune completely for the first time with hptuners. The car is 2011 GS, with LG g5x3

Did you edit the throttle tables?

i did and now I see it was bad idea, so you think its bricked ECU now? Just noticed the warnings in vcm suite that those tables have to be adjusted very carefully.

I'd put the throttle tables back to stock and go from there. Every one I've known that has changed them has gotten the REP mode. They put it back to stock tables and it was ok after that.
