    stoich command AFR

    Hey guys, quick question...

I cant find were I saw it but I remember reading our narrowbands will ALWAYS trim to the 14.7 afr even if we change it to something else. I was gonna lean up a little bit with the "summer brew" e85 now being available again and didn know if there was any truth to this? If so, no big deal and I can just shoot for a little plus on the LTFTs but if not I wanna go ahead and do a maf tune for it.

Im not worried about WOT stuff because I have my WB for that this is just more the around town type of driving...

    Thanks guys,
    Jarred

I think you need to change the switching points on the narrow bands.

Wideband and narrowband are lambda sensors. They sense stoich, so when it corrects to 450mv that is lambda 1.00 no matter the fuel. So don't alter switch points. Also unless you can change the stoich on your wideband it will read 14.7 no matter the fuel. If change your stoich in the tune to E85 stoich.
