if i purchase a year model unlimited license for a 2004 silverado DIESEL does it also apply for a 2004 sierra DIESEL as well or is that another unlimited license?

Yes, you'd get both 2004 silverado & sierra dsl.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

quick follow up to this, i have a 2000 sierra silverado year model,
im thinking about expanding to 1999 and 2001

it was 3 credits for me to buy the 2000 year model
now when i go to do a year model on my 99 computer, it says 5 credits...

does it always go up everytime you get a year model?

like will my 99 cost 5 credits and my 2001 cost me 7 credits?

    thanks!

or did it only charge me 2 credits because i had so many other vehicles i tuned that year already? i think i answered my own question here... lol

yes i believe i did, so the credits are always adding up, and that number at the lic screen is modified factoring in what you have already bought. i get it now

All gen 3 trucks are 6 credits for the year/model license. However if you have already purchased single vcm licenses for that vehicle they get partially credited towards the year/model license so you'll notice some are less then 6 now with the credits accounted for. This is all thouroughly explained in our help file www.hptuners.com/help

Correct, the software automatically calculates the amount of upgrade credits you have towards each so will only charge you accordingly. Makes for less hands on for us so customers aren't like "hey I've bought 3k in licenses with you guys can I get some sort of discount on this unlimited license" its already automatic and fair to everyone.
