    Timing falls out when shifts?

Why would the timing advance fall sometimes to -5 when the car shifts? Ls1, 4l60e.

    Because of torque management.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

So I should turn it off? Torque management Transmission or Engine settings causes this?

No need to disable it. You can achieve very firm shifts with it on.
