Hi
i am running a custom os and doing a mafless tune.
I have disconnected the MAF with a mafless otr but in the scanner it is showing the MAF running 0.59g/secs.
I though it should be 0 g/secs. Is this normal? Any procedure to reset?

Don't log MAF, it's pointless if you failed it properly
9 sec Montecarlo SS
but shouldn't it read 0g/sec?
It should, but it does that sometimes. It doesn't matter.
If you want to reset it, hook the MAF and enable it in the tune.
Open ignition key and scan, don't start engine. It will read 0 HZ and 0 g/sec
Close scanner and turn key off.
9 sec Montecarlo SS
Cool thanks ill do that.
On some cars with different pinouts they sense the MAF as being open circuit or dead and defaults to whatever resistance they have through the 5V reference. Sometimes they're zero, sometimes they're an obscene number. Nothing to worry about.
