    ECT Timing Question

Did a search for ' ECT Spark Advance Correction Multiplier ' but got no matches so I'll take my chances and ask a question. Whats the effect of the numbers 1.0 and 0.0 here in this table.
With ECT Spark Advance Correction Adder I'm fine, I can understand that perfectly, hotter than optimal temps and it takes out some timing, lower than optimal optimal temps and it varies with the load applied.
So what's the go with the multiplier do the 0.0 cells have no effect at all ever, as it seems that most of the 0.0's in my table would end up corresponding roughly to where the most of the changes would be in the 'adder' table (lower temps with low load (or airflow))
And if you can answer this, could you also explain how multiplying by 1.0 has any effect on anything.
    Thanks.

Multiplying by one would use what's in the table...multiplied by one.

Multiplying by zero would use what's int he table...multiplied by zero.

Been looking at the ECT Spark tables and I am thinking about setting up my car to pull timing anything above 210 F. I have a Griffin Rad, with a large 3000+CFM fan vertical rad with a 160 Tstat. Even with boost car runs between 175-190 tops.

Question is, I see 0 or 1.000 in the table for ECT spark advance-MULT (multiplyer) so if I use say -2 degree value above the 210 F MULT table if it reads 1.000 that would still equal -2, but 0 would equal 0? Does that make sense?

I think it would just be wise to set the entire MULTI table to 1.000.

Depends whether or not you want to modify by an entire degree of timing or not.
