The supported vehicle list shows that the Saturn Ion is only supported for the years 2004-2007. Is this correct? The Ion was produced from 03-07. I find it strange that only the 03 model is not supported.

Maybe they used some oddball pcm in the 03's that we don't support.

Are you sure it's not a mistake in the vehicle list? I am asking because I have a customer who would like an 03 Ion tuned.
Email support a vcm suite infolog while connected to the vehicle and several pics of the pcm if it doesn't read out and we'll take a look.
GM does alot of weird things year to year and we do alot of research when it comes to vehicles our software can & can't support so its likely correct but then again we are human so its easy enough to double check using the requested info.

so what happend? i got a customer with an 03 ION also... canit be done or nah>?
I think it was because at first they only supported the 2.0L redlines from 2004+, but later added support for the 2.2L, but only 07+ for those from what I recall. so 2.2L 2003-2006 Ion a no go.
