Copy the differences from the suburban tune to your silverado tune, no need to license two ecm's unless you need to modify them both.Originally Posted by miker2
The way the year/model licensing is setup is that it wont work between buick/chevy/gmc/pontiac even if its the same car/platform, if the brand differs you're going to have to re-license that ecm.
i want a spare or second ecm.didn't know if it has to come from the same year/model group to use it.
If the pcm is a silverado pcm and you don't have a license for the silverado year/model then you'd need to license the silverado pcm.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
