I'm still learning, so I cant give you what you want. Ive started to complile my own library to draw knowledge from....

    Basics of tuning books

http://calibratedsuccess.com/Media.htm (Books) I have both, excellent reads.

    Learn to tune at home
http://www.thetuningschool.com/courses.html I have both, within a few hours my truck is running 100% better!!! Expencive, but worth the money and I havent even gotten to the "advanced" book yet.

http://calibratedsuccess.com/Media.htm (DVD) Dont have this one, Id like to see it.

http://www.masportspeedshop.com/serv...-tuning/Detail I have this one too. Very good for the money!!

    Live "learn to tune" seminars
    http://www.thetuningschool.com/seminars.html

    http://calibratedsuccess.com/Basic.htm

http://www.efi101.com/efi101.html Ive taken this one, very useful to be in person!!

Go to the link in my sig, it will at least give you some definitions, tuning tips and the basics to get you going. The classes above will do you more good once you have the basics down.

LS1s cant be bored .030 over. Sleeves are too thin. IIRC they can take about .005-.010 hone and thats about it.

If that LS1 really is .030 over I sense a facepalm in the near future.

SweetS10V8 - Could you compare / contrast the "Tuning School" course vs the Masport book? I recently ordered the Masport book since I figure the $50 is worth the risk. I don't feel nearly as comfortable with the price of the tuning school media. Do you feel it's worth the 9x price increase in comparison to the Masport book?

I feel pretty comfortable tuning my own stuff, but just looking for more of a sanity check that I'm not missing anything.

Yeah never heard of a LS1 being bored .030" without sleeves being installed first.

Start reading the sticky's and you'll learn.
