    Throttle Area Increase Rate question

I'll start by admitting that I'm VERY new to tuning and really don't have a grasp on it yet.

I have a 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP M6. For those that don't about this car, its got the LS3 with the TR6060 transmission. My mods are ARH long tube headers and a Vararam intake. It has been tuned but this table wasn't altered.

That being said, I was looking at my throttle area increase rate table and I noticed that it was different than the stock G8 GT and the Stock Corvette M6 (same engine and transmission).

Here is a picture of my table

The Corvette M6 and the G8 GT (L76 motor) have all 100s in the table. Why would mine be this low from the factory? If it will help throttle response or anything I would love to adjust this but if there is a reason it's set like that I would like to know why. Thanks.

Max it out and that will ensure that you do not have any limitations in the throttle increase rate.

Am I correct in assuming this does what it seems to do. I controls the rate/speed at which the throttle butterfly opens?

I'm sorry to be a pain in the ass about this. I just want to make sure I understand completely what I'm doing. This stuff is second nature to most of you but it's still Chinese to me.

What's your question? You posted the table noting that the numbers were low. Your suspicion was confirmed and you were advised to set all values in that table to 100.

    What else is there?

    Apparently nothing.

I've made the changes and I'll see how it works out.

    I appreciate the help.
