Hummm? Good question. Where have the veterans been the past few days? They usually have the answers to these in depth questions. Speed density tuning sure makes things far more responsive if done correctly. See you've done that... Dialing in your aftermarket throttle body/intake (i.e. Fast 90/90 if applicable) is certainly helpful. I think drive by wire is far more responsive than ETC being that its a mechanical correlation to throttle response. Interested in reading/learning from opinions on this one.

I have been told that adjusting the ETC scalar value to a lower one will speed it up to make it more responsive, but don't know it for a fact. .0255 is for 78mm and .0192 is for 90mm just in case anybody needs to know those #'s

I'm not sure if this became available in one of the later betas or if this table is viewable in 2.22. I never looked at a gen 3 with the ETC table from the new beta. But it seems like this table would help to make the ETC snappier.

I would imaging maxing out that table would do the trick.

Me wonders if that could damage the pcm? I've never tried it personally. I know HPT warns you big time in the tuning notes.

The latest BETA still doesn't access the ETC table. Unless it requires a special handshake or something......

careful with some of those tables, changed it once and it didn't do any damage, the next time I did I got to the end of the driveway and the truck died and that was the end of that ecu, once you do that there is no why to reflash it to try to fix your mistake.

note: that was on my 2006 denali not sure about other years

06 Trailblazer SS - Took the entire table, other than "Reverse" LOL and made a nice slope starting at 50 and ran it up to 100 on the right 2 columns. Truck felt super responsive until I made the entire table 100's.... now it's like a brand new vehicle!
