anything other than disabling VATS before pulling engine for swap?

I plan on pulling the engine/trans from my '05 GTO for my BMW swap in the next week or so. I plan on using the stock computer and much of the GTOs wiring and sensors.

I figured it would be wise to disable VATS 1 and VATS 2 and using the Write Entire feature before I remove anything, so its one less headache I have to deal with to get it running in the new car.

are there any other "good ideas" to do before I remove everything from the doaner car to simplify things later?
