    Delphi 44lb Injector: Need Info

    These here:

    http://www.racetronix.com/17113739.html

Where there any GM vehicles that came with this injector from the factory? I was told they were in the 8.1 vehicles, but another told me just the marine applications. I was hoping there was an actual GM vehicle they came in so I could get all the injector specs for them.

These are going in an '06 Silverado SS that we've done an L92 upgrade (and cam) on. With that being said, are there any other Delphi Multec 2 Shorty style of injectors that flow more than the stock 25# injectors? I'd like to have something in the low to mid 30 range. Will the 35# flex-fuel injectors work (plug-n-play)? If so I could easily use these injector specs from an '05 Avalanche 5.3:

Thanks for any help in advance.

Yes, the 8.1 truck injectors are right around 30lbs, give or take a few. Those 44lb ones are used in the 8.1 marine applications. I have an 03 Silverado SS and I have used the 8.1 truck injectors before. I ended up paying full price for them at the dealership which was pretty pricey.

Aight, here's what we're gonna do:

    LS2/LS7 EV6 style injector ends:

    http://www.casperselectronics.com/mm...ory_Code=INJEC
(Ignore the fact that Casper's has "LS1/LS6" listed - that's wrong. Summit even has them listed as "LS6/LS7", lol.)

And install either the LS2 (not sure of latest part #), or LS7 injector (part # 12576341).

Tho slightly more money, it will be easier to tune perfectly for (all the factory GM injector values are easily obtained from production vehicles).

Holy heck, that IS a LOT cheaper! I appreciate you sending me that link. Unfortunately, I think the customer already ordered them from Casper's. Uhhhg! If they haven't already shipped them, I'll see if he can cancel without too much hassle, and go with the ones above!

    Thanks again!
