Receiving a File Failed Validation check error?

This is usually caused by other tuning software that has disabled & not recalculated the checksums &/or don't modify the main file checksums as well.

    1. When we initially released the software we did not calculate the ETC checksums, expecting people would disable things as they do with other software. For whatever reason lots of people started complaining about changing ETC params giving wrench light (becuase they didn't diable the ETC checks).

    2. We changed the software to enforce the ETC checksums and calculate them automatically allowing people to edit anything they want without causing issues.

This is the reason older modded files will not open with the editor now because the ETC checksums are incorrect. This is also the reason that some files tuned with other programs will not open.

If you previously modified a file using 2.2.0 or an earlier beta you might see this error when using 2.22, HOWEVER you should be able to open & modify the stock file you originally read from the pcm originally. If, for some reason, you no longer have the stock file please email support and we will attempt to find you a suitable stock file to start with as your base.

This can also be caused by a new calibration we have yet to see so if there is any doubt simply email support & we will review the file.

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
