2002 C5 vette. At about 45mph to 55mph the car goes lean then rich and surges. I can put it in SDOL and it does not happen. What does a bad MAF sensor do when it goes bad?

Well it is not the MAF sensor.I pulled the MAF sensor off my 04 GMC (same part #) and it did the same thing.I have it in CLSD and it runs great.I will just run it this way for awhile.I think it is turbulence from my Ram air system!

Fixed it!It was my CAI! It was Turbulance!
I removed it and put my stock intake with out the lid (cable tied the filter so I have open filter) and it does not surge. Had to redo tune (ve and maf) because it was to rich with the stock intake. Now my IAT is running high. Lookong for a different CAI!
