    Does HP Tuners use only Micro excel??

    What programs does HP Tuners run besides Excel??
    I only have a trial version
    Do I have to buy Microsoft Excel??

    HP Tuners is an all in one software program, it needs no external software like excel nor does it use excel to translate anything.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    BUT, if you want to export logs to csv format (quite helpful to do, at times), you will need Excel, or something that will read/display csv properly. I'm not by any means suggesting one should share Microsoft software, but surely you know someone with a copy of Excel? LOL!

    Here, this will read PT exported and HPTuner exported csv scans - and it's free! Just right click the csv file and "Open With" the table modifier

    Open office is a good alternative to excel also & its free.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
