bidirectional controls are more meant for use on a dyno or controlled environment, using them on the street while you are also driving the car is not recommended in any situation.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I understand, but it would be cool to use a joystick at the strip, it would almost be like having a manual valve body
