L86 to L8T swap and tune

Does/Did your 16 have the 8L90? I?m interested in doing an L8T swap and curious. My 16 Silverado has the 8L90 and wondering if the L8T will mate up to it or do I need to go with a 6L90?

My trucks getting a new L8T motor my L86 dropped a valve. I?m going with a BTR stage 3 N/A cam.

Will my harness need any modifications?

Got the truck running now and have no regrets! the L8t swap was super easy. Did not need to change the valley plate, did brake pump delete, oil level sensor harness that was it, used all my original l86 intake throttle body,water pump.
Kook long tubes into 3.5 inch exhaust, stage 3 BTR cam, stock converter for now.
