    ls3 timing

last night i turned on speed density (already tuned) to put back in the factory blended tune and then i drove around to check my timing and it was way to advanced cuz i was getting knock everywhere. so i logged and paste special subtract about a dozen times my graph looks like a 9.0 earthquake. then i smoothed selection 2 times. is this a safe way to do timing?

    Your statement/question is confusing
Post a Tune and a Log which pertains to what you're asking and you will get a better response

Most vehicles with knock sensors are overly sensitive and will pull knock retard timing well before there is true detonation. Increase your fuel octane using race gas and see if the knock retard changes. If you still have the same KR with higher octane then most likely you need to desensitize the sensors.
