1999 c2500 5.7l vortec 9365085 os

Hello!

I have the 5.7l Vortec, with this OS. I was wondering if I could load the 2000 Tahoe OS on there, instead of the C2500 stock OS? There are certain things I like better about that OS. It's the same ECU, as well. I know everybody always says... "just do the 0411 swap", but I don't really want to. Too much work, for too little reward. (I've been told over and over, all the 0411 does is gives you finer adjustments/readings) Plus, I really don't have a problem with these ECU's. TIA!

I did the 0411 swap in about 2 hours. I do not wire the 4 wires to the transmission range switch and I deleted the EGR as my marine intake lacked EGR and the evap pressure sensor since my 97 Express did not have one. I have since swapped from the 0411 to a DBC P59. I fought random issues with the black box on my 97 and later on my 99 Tahoe from the day I owned them.

What transmission do you have? Being a 2500 if it is 8-lug should have a 4L80E. The Tahoe Limited is a 4L60E and 2wd.
