    New to tuning

    Good afternoon Guys,

I just ordered my HPtuners software last Friday and needed some help on the process of tuning. Which steps do I need to take to complete a tune.
The car is a 2006 vette, 6 spd, vararam, and corsa sports, the remainder of the car is stock.
I have seen many help sections on tuning, but they mention LS1 and not LS2.. should I following that method or is it different for the LS2?

    thanks for your help
    brian

Very little of any LS1 guide will pertain to your 06 vette unfortunatly...most people are recommending just tuning the dual maf tables to get your final AFR.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

you can try to tune the VE table(S) if you'd like, but I think you'll find it easier said than done.

I like the GenIV VE tables though! They're big numbers. Why can't all the VE tables be in injector pulse length (in miliseconds) so it's the same for every OS?
Have a few thousand files I can share. I'm not on here often so please email me. [email protected]

The 06+ vettes have no "standard" ve table. It's a bunch of constants that get added/multiplied together to get a result.

GM deals with airflow and then calculates fuel flow.

    I always thought it was

Idle -> Part Throttle VE Tuning -> Spark -> WOT -> PE

Why do some people always say to never touch the MAF?

Chris he's only got bolt on's so he shouldnt need to do much of any idle tuning...have fun VE tuning an 06 vette man...take a look at an 06 vette file & tell me thats the next step you'd take

    Spark ok

WOT & PE are on the same wave length.

As far as never touching the maf It really depends on the tuner.

sorry man we've pretty much gone over what you need to tune

    Fan temp points
    Tq management
    CAGS
    Fuel
    Spark
    done.

you have pretty limited mods so it shouldnt be too hard.
