    4.6 3v Tuning Questions

Hello my brother in law has a 2010 F150 4.6 3v. We just cam phaser lockouts, timing chain, tensioners, oil pump and rockers. After the work was complete I used HP tuners to turn off the VCT and change the tire Revs per Mile for what I found online.

    My questions are:
    1. Do I need to tune anything else since the VCT is disabled? Such as increase timing to compensate for the phaser lockout?

The Speedo is still of by about 3-5mph at 60, the tire size is 285/65R20 pre what I found online the tire is 583.2 revs per mile.

Sorry if these are easy questions I am quite new to tuning. Jason_log.hplJason_Step_1.hpt

Just tweak revs per mile until you are happy. Not every tire of a given size is the same OD.

Why are you disabling VCT? Does it have cams in it?

I disabled the VCT due to installing the Cam Phaser Lockouts

I don't think the vct tables add a lot to the timing. Your probably fine just leaving them as is.
