Nothing has changed in this regard. Any histograms created with 2.22 WILL work with 2.23 so long as you are logging the correct pids. If you aren't logging the correct pids then thats a whole different issue that only YOU can correct.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Bill,
I am having the same issue, I'm running beta version 2.23.3468.18986 and when I open a config file it says "Histogram Display Failed to Load. This file was created with a newer version of the software. Please update your software to the latest version!"
Should I download version 2.22 or is their a newer beta that will fix this?
    Thanks

I made a quick LTFT MAF edit table. I suppose this could also be used for STFTs too. I have not used it yet but once I do I will be sure to post results. Simply plug in current MAF table, then logged MAF vs Hz fuel trims from your histogram and then copy new tables into your BIN. Hopefully this helps some people out and that this is the right place for this.

EDIT: Made a mistake in my math. This one is good. Tried it out and works great! Have fun!

The configs make my head hurt..... anyone have a general config that will actually let me log everything for I know its better to have several small ones to get better resultion, but I cant get the hang of them and my 99Z does not work on these of course.

Realizing this may be a the wrong place to post this.

Working to tune an 06 Grand Prix GXP 5.3 LS4. Can't get the STFT's to read correctly on the histogram. I've setup hi and lo maf vs STFT histograms, tried using EC's from the beginning of the thread and nothing is making sense.

For example, watching the STFT on the gauge or table displays, I'm seeing normal STFT's +12 to say -14. Clearly needs a tune. Using the histogram of maf airflow vs output frequency low against the STFT, I'm getting -45 when STFT on displays is -11.

Doesn't seem logical. Looking at the sensor it's good, histogram appears to be logging something entirely different.

Need to build 2 histograms. (LTFT + STFT vs Maf freq (Hz)) and another for (MAF hz vs AFR error). If anyone has these for 2010 ls3 or can help me out in building them I would GREATLY appreciate it. Help files have not HELPED.

You need to setup two user defined PID's. One will be total fuel trims for bank 1, the other the total for bank 2. Formula for bank 1 that I'm using is [PID.6]+[PID.7]. Bank 2 is [PID.8]+[PID.9]. This is on an E40 so it may differ on yours. Lookup correct PID's for yours. If you don't know how to do this then let me know and I'll try to walk you through it in more detail

To make the histogram, get to histogram settings and pick whichever one you want to use. I use #6 for bank 1, #7 for bank 2. Bank 1 settings are:

Set "PID" to the custom PID you setup earlier (i.e. total fuel trims bank 1). Optional: Under filter put in [PID.68]=1. That will make it only log when you aren't in power enrichment mode. Under rol/col axis, clear out whatever is in there if there is anything. For the column sensor, set it to Maf Air Flow Freq, unit = hz, and use these for break points: 1000,1150,1300,1450,1600,1750,1900,2050,2200,2350, 2500,2650,2800,2950,3100,3250,3400,3550,3700,3850, 4000,4150,4300,4450,4600,4750,4900,5050,5200,5350, 5500,5650,5800,6000,6200,6400,6600,6800,7000,7200, 7400,7600,7800,8000,8200,8400,8600,8800,9000,9200, 9400,9600,9800,10000,10200,10400,10600,10800,11000 ,11200,11400,11600,11800,12000,12200 (you can change these to match your MAF table if this doesn't line up with yours

That should be it for the MAF one.

For AFR error--I assume you have a wideband?

Do not put anything in for the row section.. take out what you have in there now

Also note that the LTFT PID will NOT work until LTFT's enable.. usually around 133*. Nothing will show up in the histogram until then.. so don't assume it's not working right off the bat if nothing is showing up

(without that PID working, the one you've setup for STFT+LTFT will not work either.. that messed me up. Just give it a few mins)

I'm having an issue. The histo table comes up and looks fine until I start to log. Then it goes back to how it looked before I configured it. Here are 2 pics, one before I start to log and one after. Any ideas?

There's something that it needs that you aren't logging.. make sure you're logging MAF Hz, and LT & ST fuel trims for both banks

Go to the table display and make sure all of those are in there.. Post a pic of it if you don't see anything wrong and I'll see if I see anything

Also, go ahead and remove the PID.68=1 or whatever filter is in there for now.. just to be sure that isn't causing any issues

I will move this over to the other thread for simplicity purposes.
