Hooking aem 30-4110 to mpvi2

I cant figure out how to hookup my aem wb to hptuners. Ive tried using the serial to usb by wiring the blue wire to pin 2 and taking some extra wire and connecting pin 5 to body ground. Not sure if the white wire is important but its unused. When i connect to hp tuners the aem preset doesnt work and goes invisible when i try to start recording. What am i doing wrong? Is this possible to do? If so what am i doing wrong and how can i hook this up correctly and cleanly?

I had the same problem because I was selecting the aem wideband from the dropdown channel select tree when you go to add a channel. When I selected the AEM wideband with this method it would blank out when I started my log. To resolve this try selecting add a channel, then type WB in the search bar and select it from the results.
