Question Other tuned left me hanging- Diablo. Need some guidance with stock tune

Recently purchased a 2018 Yukon L83/6L80 and wanted to get rid of the dreaded AFM and get a little better drivability. Purchased a tuner from Diablo (Predator 2) Loaded the 87 tune and everything worked. I wanted to get a E-tune done so I reached out to a Diablo tuner. Said it was not a tuner he programs and to get the i3 tuner. Returned truck to stock with the Predator, returned it and purchased an i3. Went to upload the i3 tune and it says the ECU's currently have a Diablo tune on them and to flash to stock.

Dealer wants $300 and they "should" be able to do it. That is a lot of $ for a should.

Buddy has HPTuners. If I buy the credits, I know I should be able to upload the stock tunes into if I can locate the stock tunes. I see others have asked for these stock tunes, but I haven't been able to locate one for a 2018.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on getting a stock tune? I plan to have a tune done by someone at some point. I just would like to get back to stock for the near future. Returning this Diablo crap.

Using another vehicle’s file is not the way to return yours to stock. Too many variables between vehicles even in the same model year.

I am having a problem related to stock tune. I have a 15 GMC with a 5.3 stock except straight pipe from cats. My wife bought truck for me from carvana and I took to dealer for mildly rough idle because it was under 150 day warranty. They replaced o2 sensors, fuel injectors, spark plugs, hp pump, and still has issue. I gave up on that for now. I bought hp tuner to turn of dod and bump idle up to 600 to smooth it out. When I inspected set up DOD was already disabled... So not factory tune... Only thing I have been doing for now is compairing other peoples stock tunes.

did you delete the stock tune on your computer from the predator? If you still have it, diablo may be able to help you get it back on the car...

Edit: I didn't see this was from 2 moths ago, my bad.
