Arrow New PCM - How to program it ?

    Hey guys,

I am working on an 06 GTO, where they had it previously LS2 edit tuned and locked by the tuner. I ordered a new PCM for it (with TCM integrated) and was told they ship "blank". Since I do not have the original image, I have nothing to start with... Has anyone done this before? Do i need to goto a dealer to have them install a fresh .bin that will match this car's vin when it arrives here?

    Thanks

    Hey guys,

They programmed it but I'm getting a TCM security denied now... Could they have forgotten to program that portion of the PCM?

NM, they must have programmed it as the car drives fine... It's an 06 GTO w/integrated PCM and TCM (one unit)... But I'm still at a loss...

Are you able to read both the ECM & TCM now. Or just the ECM?

What a PITA this one has been...

    Update:
There was actually a seperate TCM. I bought it today, but apparantly it was blank as well.

So, I managed to work around that... I'm going to reflash tomorrow with the dealer.

I just wish I could get the CASE learn to work, this GTO has the electronic TB which reports 22% tps at idle, which wont allow me to do it...

    Hopefully the dealer is capable!
