    Configuration & Histogram Repository

Aight guys as many of you have already noticed LS1's are the default when it comes to the config files & histograms for the most part. Here you can post what configs have helped you along. Include in your post with this format:

    Year
    Make
    Model
    OS
    Vin
What the config is for? Idle tuning, SD tuning, MAF tuning, General

If your post is missing anyone of those it will likely be deleted since I need that info to verify its a working configuration.

If you have custom histograms you'd like to post as well feel free. Same info is needed.

    Here's an example
    2001
    Chevy
    Camaro
    12202088
    2G1FP22G412102986
    MAF Tuning/VE Tuning

NOTE: Do not open the .cfg or .hst files with anything but the scanner.

The .cfg (configuration files) go in your:
    C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite2 Directory

The .hst (histogram files) go in your:
    C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite2\Histograms Directory

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

This has the EGR v output signal set up to display AFR from 9-16 w/ the NGK Powerdex AFX kit.

Histograms include AFR, AFR Error, and MAF Error%

Chart will display Actual And Commanded AFR as well

    Bill,
    I don't get it. sorry..

I have a 1998 GTP & the AFX so I figured its time to configure this WB and I I'm not finding enough info to configure it intuitively.

I can't open the attachments, I get an error message "cannot parse log".

Can you direct me to a link or post that has some form of step by step "how to"?

In the mean, I'll search and read thru some of these posts trying to finger it out.

I need some HPT for dummy's.

    thanks,

this is a config & histogram repository, you would need to open the file by either opening the histogram window & clicking the open file button or clicking the open config button respectively, its covered at length in our help file as well as the scanner quick start guide in the getting started section.

    Hello,
Tried to do MAF tuning on 97 camaro with a 3.8L, but the 'maf % error histogram' is not supported for my vehicle. Probably a stupid question, but does anyone have a MAF error histogram file that would work on a 97 camaro 3.8/Innovate LC1 wideband?? I also need HPT for dummies apparently. Thank you.

Wow, this is an old one but I think you are looking a *C and not *F there. Also in a V-6 there is only one Narrow Band, hense the single bank being loged. You could weld a bung into bank 2 to use your WB to tune both sides of the exhaust though if you so desire. You would have to make use of the cycl skew table to make that work if inclined to go that route. You want to get real nuts you could weld a bung in each of your exhaust tubes and tune each one, but that would only be for a full out race car and not worth spending one red cent on IMO unless you are a world class runner... Just some info for anyone that may look in here guys
