    COT Question

I've noticed that my previous tuner had set the following COT parameters for the final car tune. Not sure if COT needs to be disabled or not or if there is a reason to leave it disabled.

Here are my settings. Keep in mind I'm running Kooks 1-3/4 LT with Mettalic Hi Flow Cats.

    COT: Disable
    Max Enrichment: 1.07

    Temp Threshold 1: 2287
    Temp Threshold 2: 2215
    Temp Threshold 3: 2197

Should I keep these the way they are?

    Thanks Chris

Your COT is disabled as you have it, the temp thresholds and max enrichment are to tune the COT IF it is enabled (if you wanted to). I always just set the COT to disable and leave the other tables stock. Your ok the way it is.

Having it disabled won't nuke my cats? I've had it running like this for 9 months now. lol

If they're back in the Y a ways then you may live for a
while although some blower cars have melted out Jet-Hot
    cats.

There's no reason not to set max enrichment to your min
PE table enrichment value; then COT will never bug you
even if it kicks in. Just waste some fuel maybe.

    jimmyblue,

That sounds like a great idea, have you tested this?

I ran around that way for a good while, but once I gutted the
cats I just disabled it. Like many things it's a compromise, a
less effective (but think stock is "over-effective") protection
for the sake of performance but still some.

So what should I set them at? Or leave them disabled per the table above.

    Thanks
