I was working on a 2006 C6, and noticed that there is not a MAF patch like there was for the 2005 C6. Am I to assume that this correction was fixed by GM with the newer car?

Hmmmmmm.....What patch is that and how do you install it?
in boosted applications mainly you can go over the max maf frequency...in early OS's if that happened the pcm would basically reset to 0 and go dangerously lean...it was a GM bug basically that hptuners fixed by creating a custom OS for it thats free. Go to the OS tab & patch it then do a write entire.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
