    Hp limit before factory GM knock sensors become ineffective

    I've tuned gen 4 setups to the 600-650 rwhp range as well as gen 3 setups to mid 550 rwhp.
    I had no issues with the knock sensors "lying" about false knock. Only had that when the customer's truck had a winch hook bouncing around hitting the bumper, tied it off and didn't have any issues.

    Anyways, for more aggressive Ls v8 forced induction setups in the 750+ rwhp, is the "useless-ness" of knock sensors that some report at high power levels, due to torsional forces?
    Or simply due extremely loud 5" fender exit exhausts amplified more at that power level, setting off the knock sensors?
