    2007 GM 6.0 Work Truck

    I dont have time to mess with this right now and need to get back to work. Can anyone help tune this 6.0 for me. Its just a work truck and the cam went bad, we installed a new cam and lifter from summit (stage 1) in the process did away with the VVT. 2007 chevy.hpt. Thanks in advance

    Either make time or pay someone to do it. I'm not the guy to tell you where to buy a tune but I'll give you a quick thing to do because the VVT is gone.

    Under Engine > Airflow > Variable camshafts, set the camshaft tab on the left from one to none. Then go to the DTC's page in the engine diag tab and disable any VVT related codes. Uncheck the SES box and set the code to no error reported.

    If the camshaft is really small, it'll probably run off the stock tune pretty well.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
