Street & Performance computer tunning

I have a 55 chevy with a ls2 using a street & performance harness and computer. When trying to gather info to start tunning, I get a error saying unable to license cannot gain access it does show the vin and os and it is saying that this is a 2005 gto but can not gain access. called s&p they gave me the same vin that shows up when trying to gain access. and they said that there computers are not vin locked. and they use ls1/2 edit any reason i can not use HP to tune this. the scanner will read all data. but can not tune. maybe some body has seen this already?

check to see if the pcm has a serial number. you can see that when you try to download the file I believe.

Someone else on here is having the same issue but in a older Chevy truck.

Another problem with LS2 Edit...

I will have to use a tech 2 for this since i can not connect with HP?

Tech2 won't fix the LS2 Edit issue. BTDT. Must send the PCM to Carputing for them to "unlock" which will return all tuning to stock for your VIN.
