I am almost done with putting a turbo 350 in a friends 99 Camaro and was wondering what needs to be done with the tune stuff and codes?
Can i just zero out the trans tables and turn the trans codes off or is it more to it?

Actually, there is less to it. You can leave those tables populated, as they will no longer do anything. You just need to turn off all of the trans DTC codes off (P07xx). One thing though, if he will be using a speedo (Electrical VSS), you will need to verify that the TH350 drive/driven gears are correct for his application. Then simply use the Electric VSS found on newer (IIRC 1991 and newer) vehicles. Splice into the NSS switch and you are good to go.
Two questions,would the rev limiter change with the check engine light on with the tranny codes and is there a speedo sensor that works with the old gear setup on the TH350?I was thinking about taging into the front wheel sensor for the speedo.
You can use the front wheel sensor apart from the trans VSS. If the ECM is throwing a Baqd VSS Signal code, you will need to match the rev limiter from that table to your desired rev limit.
did a swap in a V6 4L60e to V8 TH350 and speedo is off can you shin some light on the fix??

Work from the back towards the front........Find revolutions per mile of your tire size, multiply that by your gear ratio to give you drive line revolutions per mile. With a generic VSS that will be located in the tail shaft, all you'll need additionally is the Pulses per revolution (teeth on reluctor wheel). If you have a pulse generator that is inline with the cable speedo, you will have a reducing gear off of the drivetrain. You'll need to find/figure out that ratio difference of that little gear to figure out your actual VSS pulses per revolution).
