Speed limiter on a 2007 Suburban

A friend of mine has a 2007 Suburban. The speed limiter is set to 97MPH. He had me bump it up to 125MPH. I made the change and it still shuts down at 97MPH. The only field I changed was Speed Limiter #1 and #2. I left the source set to "GMLAN" and the third speed limiter setting I left at 186 in the limit and resume blocks.

Is there another setting in the PCM that works in tandem with the Speed Limiter setting? This truck is a 5.3 Liter with traction control.

    Thanks, Zach

you need to set the source to calibration, otherwise it uses the speedlimit rx'd from the BCM.
