    maf values?

not sure how to set mass airflow values for a slp 85mm maf. can anyone give me a hand. would this cause the car to almost die at startup? it will surge up and down for about a minute or so then it levels out and runs great. only at startup i have a problem. and it doesn't do it everytime

you could swap the stocker back on to see if thats the problem, but yes a different MAF can cause issues if not tuned.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

find the values for an 85mm maf and adjust your maf table for that.

SLP hoaxed the electronics so it produces a "similar"
output to a stock Oreo MAF. Whatever you may think
of SLP's definition of "close enough".

Remove the resistor they soldered in there and use the
truck table from a 6.0, one that has clean low-end
appearance (some are discontinuous or drop out early
    etc.).

    This is the resistor:

Attached is my collection of MAF cal curves (green = good):

jimmyblue: what exactly does the green=good refrence mean for your MAF cal curves?? Are these the ones that you have calibrated?

These are all stock GM cal curves but some stop short
on the high and/or low ends, or have discontinuous
data in them. The Holden MAF is what should be on
every F-body and the truck MAF one is the fattest of
the 85mm cals but happens to have been dead-nuts
on my car, commanded vs actual AFR at WOT and
    decently low negative trims elsewhere.

If you found the one too fat you could try out the 5.3
which also appears well-formed, just lighter.
