    Aftermarket Speedometer setup

Finally got my 82 s15 5.3/4l80e swap running and driving. I am not getting any readings on my autometer speedometer. Hptuners log is showing an accurate speed. I am also getting a P0608(vss error). Transmission shifts perfect, no other drives perfect.

I have read the autometer guage needs 16000 pulses and default PCM output is 4000.
Do I change Speedometer -> cal -> PCM OUTPUT Cal miles from 4000 to 16000?

Or is there a different solution.

    Thanks

Yep. Easy peezy. You can set your tach for v6, v8 ect by setting the Tach out resolution numbers differently as they are 4 cyl from the factory.

    first assumption is correct.
change pcm vss output to desired ppm value for your gauge and wire your autometer into the speedo output.

I gave an answer to your first question by saying YEP, easy peezy, I then figured you may want to know that you can also change the output of the tach at the same time as thats a another very common question.
