Limiting output horsepower?
Car is 2007 4.6 auto, Vortech V3 without cooler, GT500 injectors, better fuel pump. How can I limit power for street. I need safe way to limit power to about 360 hp. Can I limit throttle opening/rpm, retarding sounds bad.

You can limit the pedal output.

Pull timing. It's one of the most effective and safe ways to limit power to forced induction engines.

Car doesn't have cooler, so IAT pulls already so much timing, there is not much left to take

Install a larger pulley to lower boost.
You can also play with the Driver Demand table, it will request less torque if you lower the values in the table and the PCM will use timing and throttle to achieve the requested torque.

pull ignition yet not too much so the plug can burn the mixture properly, or as mentioned swap pulleys

Driver demand didn't work. I limited throttle and put last column 6500 rpm in spark to 5. Dropped 40 hp, but with smooth curve and nice torque.

don't limit the throttle angle so much. It can overheat your blower! best way is lower the boost.

don't tell anyone, it was only temporary limit to have document.
