VCM Editor - "Read" button disabled

I'm attempting to read an '07 Pontiac Solstice GXP.

Although the VCM scanner can connect and interact with the vehicle, the VCM Editor has the "Read" button disabled.

Any suggestions? As far as I've been able to tell, this car has not been modified, so I don't see how it could be a locked tune. (And, if it was, shouldn't the Editor say something to that effect?)

Help?

(And, no, I have not read this vehicle before - I just got the car a few weeks ago.)

you probably have a file open in the editor already, close the file you have open then the read button will become available...
