High DI enrichment???

Hey guys, anyone know what this does?? There is a master switch which disables and enables it.
I had a vehicle LSA, 65lb injectors, big cam, etc which was running extremely rich on cold start, fuel tables were spot on.
turned this off and it sorted out my issue. This is on from factory but i guess with larger injectors it affects how this works???

I turned it off on my vehicles as well.
It does help on after flash richness and cold starts.
I believe it?s part of the cat enrichment system.
Some one else may have more info, though.
