    Using filters in histograms

I tune 2005> Fords with HPt, and I have made some user maths and useful histograms. Now I try to filter out unwanted data from coasting and decel cut etc. But I can't verify if filter does anything. How can I be sure from that.

SFTF value according to rpm/maf volts, histogram filter "[50091.155][3203.10]>18.1 AND [50112.248]>0.1 AND [40170.238]>0.7 AND [40170.238]<1.2" in terms
accelerator pedal >18.1 AND injector time >0.1 AND wideband >0.7 AND wideband <1.2
When I play log file the active cell is displayed, even it is in filtered area.
What purpose has option "cell hits required" and what does different values do?

    The filter does work.

You may want try using throttle position instead of accelerator pedal because throttle position actually falls to a lesser value than accelerator pedal which does not go fall below 18.1

Each square on your histogram is a cell. Cell hits required is another filter. If you changed cell hits required to 100, then the cells that get hit less than 100 times will not show up. Once you hit 100 then the results show.
