This problem requires a bit more attention for us to solve. Please open a support ticket so we can further assist you. That can be done here: https://support.hptuners.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Go buy a new one.. Not much they can do.. Mine went missing, somehow found it in the box dropped behind my toolbox behind my trash barrel a day AFTER I ranted about it missing.. I think someone thought they could borrow it and use it for free??

Anyways, contact support thru email.. Here's the response I got when I asked them about mine.. Never had to do anything as I 'found' mine a day or two later..

I'm very sorry to hear that your interface is missing.

We can change the login information so no one can access the account to retrieve the application key.
We can also "deactivate" the device, but that can not be undone and should only be done if you are sure you will not get it back.

We don't replace lost or stolen interfaces or the licenses/credits on the interface. We would recommend filing a police report and report it to your home owners insurance.

    Surely if,

"We can change the login information so no one can access the account to retrieve the application key.
We can also "deactivate" the device, but that can not be undone and should only be done if you are sure you will not get it back."

Then they could also put the remaining unused license/credits on a new devise for you.
That just makes common sense and good quality customer service...

Is there a way to backup the licenses on a device in the even it fails or gets stolen?

I wish this was a thing a few years ago. My interface got stolen the year after I got started out and I lost about 30 customer licenses, including my own.

Ugh, If I had gotten my hands on that guy...

    Wouldn't have mattered with MPVI1.

So on the 1, it can't be done at all, only on the 2, right?

we can close the online account so no credits are purchased for the 1, but thats about the extent of it.
